Martaz Robinson scores 26 points in Delaware State’s 79-73 overtime win over Loyola Maryland

The Delaware State University men’s basketball team earned their fourth win of the season on Saturday with a 79-73 overtime victory over the Loyola University Maryland Greyhounds.

Senior guard Martaz Robinson led the team in scoring in the win with 26 points. Robinson also recorded a double-double in the game, collecting ten rebounds with his 26 points.

Two other DSU players who scored in double-digits were Freshman guard Deywilk Tavarez (16), and sophomore guard Jevin Muniz (10).

Delaware State had the advantage in multiple categories in the game, which included points off of turnovers (14-10), fast-break points (4-2), rebounds (36-30), turnovers (10-15), and steals (7-5).

The Hornets were also the better team at the free-throw line in this game, as the team shot 76.9 %(20-26), and the Greyhounds shot 52.9 %(9-17).
