Goldey-Beacom would hold a ten-point lead at halftime.

About a minute later, the Lightning would answer back by outscoring Kutztown 17-7 to grab a 17-13 advantage with 11:55 left in the first half. Nazim Derry and Zakari McQueen would be on fire during this stretch, as the duo scored 15 of the 17 points.
Goldey’s defense stepped up during this run, as they had three steals and six defensive rebounds.
Fast forward to the 8:02 minute mark, where the Bears Amir Cunningham had a layup go in to give his team a slim 26-25 edge.
Goldey-Beacom would answer by outscoring Kutztown 24-13 for the rest of the opening half to end with a 49-39 lead. Nazim Derry, Zakari McQueen, and Ayshion Centeno scored 17 of the 24 points during that stretch.
The Lightning takes home a 110-78 victory.
Goldey would start the second half with a bang as the team went on a 32-16 run to extend their advantage to 81-55 with 10:59 left in the game. Caleb Bates had no problem getting the basket through the hoop during this stretch, as he scored 15 of the team’s 32 points.
Fast forward to the 5:17 minute mark, where Nazim Derry would drain a three-point shot to push the Lightning’s lead to 33 points (96-63).
Goldey-Beacom would score 14 more points for the rest of the second half to seal a dominating 110-78 victory over the Bears.
