Donnellan scores two goals in Blue Hens 2-0 win over George Washington

Blue Hens lead by one goal at the end of the first half.

Delaware would come right out of the gate and pepper George Washington’s goalkeeper Justin Grady with a couple of shots, but the attempts did not result in a score.

At the 20:04 minute mark, a foul would be called on the Colonials, and this would set up a Penalty kick opportunity for the Hens.

Sam Donnellan would be the Blue Hens player who lined up for the kick, and he would ace it as he gave his team a 1-0 lead at the 21:18 minute mark.
