The Goldey-Beacom College softball team earned a split with Holy Family on Tuesday, with a 2-0 win in the second game and a 7-4 loss in the first match.

Goldey-Beacom takes home a 2-0 win!
The two runs that put the Lightning on the board for the victory came in the third inning, when senior outfielders Chasedy Johnson and Delaney Insinga scored off a fielding error from Holy Family’s shortstop.
Pitching Recap:
Sophomore pitcher Lauren Carbonara earned the win in the game, pitching seven innings, giving up five hits, two walks, and striking out five.
