Season Review: Wilmington University’s Reynah Rattliff

Our 2024-2025 season player review series continues with the Wilmington University women’s basketball team as the spotlight turns to freshman guard Reynah Rattliff.

Rattliff was third on the team in scoring this season, with 8.3 points per game.

The WilmU freshman was a reliable scorer for her team this year, recording double-digits in ten games.

Ratliff’s season high in points came on November 19th versus Lincoln (Pa.), where she scored 17 points. She made four of her 18 shots, drained one of her two shots from the three-point line, and hit eight of her two free throws in the game.

The Philadelphia native also was locked on the boards all season, as she was third on the team in rebounds per game, with 5.4. She recorded three games, where she had double-digits in rebounds. In every game she played this season, she had two or more rebounds. Rattliff’s season-high on rebounds came on January 3rd versus Dominican (N.Y.), where she collected 11.

Rattliff also had a skill of finding her teammates in a good position to score, as she led the team in assists per game with 4.5. In every game except one this year, she dished out two or more assists. Her season-high in assists came on January 14th versus Holy Family, where she had 10.

The WilmU guard knew how to create turnovers from the opposing team, as she was second on the team in steals per game with 1.3. She had six games this year where she had two or more steals. Her season-high in steals came on February 17th versus Holy Family, where she had six.

Rattliff averaged 8.3 points per game, 5.4 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.3 steals in 28 games.
