Faillon seals Wilmington University’s 2-1 win over Felician with late penalty kick

The Wilmington University men’s soccer team earned its eighth win of the season on Sunday with a 2-1 victory over the Felician University Golden Falcons.

Wilmington University leads by one at the end of the first half.

The first score of the game came from the Wildcats, who woke up the scoreboard at the 35:43 minute mark, when freshman forward Ludvig Danielsson found the net for his first collegiate goal and put his team up 1-0. Redshirt freshman midfielder  Jiung Ha assisted on the goal.

Felician would strike in the second half and tie the game up at one at the 68:07 minute mark.

In the last minutes of the game, WilmU graduate student  Theo Faillon scored a penalty kick goal to give his team a 2-1 win.
