The Wilmington University men’s soccer team earned its seventh win of the season with a 4-0 victory over the Georgian Court University Lions.

The scoreboard stayed silent in the first half, as neither team found the net. Wilmington did outshoot Georgian Court 11-8 in the half, but couldn’t get the score.
The first goal of this game would come at the 45:33 minute mark, when
Freshman defender Isaak Simic found the back of the net to give WilmU a 1-0 edge. Sophomore forward Michiharu Takanashi assisted on Simic’s goal.
Almost 23 minutes later, the Wildcats’ graduate student Theo Faillon pushed the advantage to 2-0 with his score. Senior midfielder Shuntaro Morimoto assisted on Faillon’s goal.
A couple of minutes later, Takanashi would find the net to give Wilmington a 3-0 lead.
Sophomore forward Jhamaleek Porter joined the scoring party and sealed a Wildcats 4-0 win with a goal at the 77:25 minute mark.

The standouts in the game for the Wildcats were Theo Faillon, Jhamaleek Porter, Shuntaro Morimoto, Isaak Simic, Michiharu Takanashi, and freshman goalkeeper Emil Lollike.
Faillon had three shots, three shots at the goal, and scored one goal in the game.
Porter had one shot, one shot at the goal, and scored one goal in the win.
Morimoto had three shots, one shot at the goal, and one assist in the game.
