Our 2024-2025 season player review series continues with Delaware Tech’s women’s basketball freshman forward Aniyah Williams.
Williams was fourth on the team in scoring this season, with 7.4.
The Delaware Tech forward knew how to find her way to the basket this season, recording double-digits in seven games.
Williams’s season high in points came on November 9th versus Montgomery College (MD), where she recorded 15 games. She made seven of her 15 shots and hit one of two free throws.
The St. Georges Vo-Tech high school alum was locked on the boards all season, landing third on the team in rebounds per game with 6.7. She had two games this season, collecting double-digits in rebounds.
Opposing scorers did not want to see Williams around the basket, as she landed second on the team in blocks per game, with 0.8. The Delaware Tech forward had two games, where she had three blocks. She also had a season-high four blocks versus Middlesex on February 13th.
Williams averaged 7.4 points per game, 6.7 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 23 games.
