Our 2024-2025 season player review series continues with Delaware Tech’s women’s basketball freshman guard Amiya Mills.
Mills was second on the team in scoring this season, with 11.9 points per game.
The Delaware Tech freshman found herself on the scorecard often this season, recording double-digits in 14 games. She also scored over 20 points in three games this year.
Mills scored her season-high in points versus Essex on December 17th, where she had 28 points. She made ten of her 17 shots and drained eight of 12 attempts from the three-point line.
Another highlight performance came on December 13th versus Chesapeake College, where she scored 26 points. She made ten of her 20 shots, drained five of 12 attempts from the three-point line, and hit one of two free throws.
The Delaware Tech guard was a scorer, but she knew how to put teammates in good positions to score this season. Mills landed second on the team in assists per game, with 2.9.
Mills averaged 11.9 points per game, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.9 assists in 23 games.
