Our 2024-2025 season player review series continues with Delaware Tech’s men’s basketball sophomore forward Toma Smith.
Smith was fourth on the team in scoring this season, with ten points per game.
The Delaware Tech forward scored with ease this season, recording double-digits in points in 18 games. He also had one game scoring over 20 points.
Smith’s season high in points came against Morris on December 7th, where he scored 22 points. The second-year player made ten of his 12 shots and hit two free throws.
He was dominant under the boards this season, leading the team in rebounds per game with 9.6. Smith recorded 15 games this year, where he collected double-digits in rebounds. The Delaware Tech sophomore had a season-high 17 rebounds versus Essex on February 22nd.
Opposing scorers did not like to see Smith around the net, as he landed third on the team in blocks per game, with 0.5.
Smith averaged ten points per game, 9.6 rebounds, and 0.7 assists in 29 games.
