Damani Thomas scores 27 points in Goldey-Beacom’s 84-78 win over Georgian Court

The Goldey-Beacom College men’s basketball team earned their seventh win of the season on Saturday with an 84-78 victory over the Georgian Court University Lions.

Senior guard Damani Thomas led the team in scoring in the win with 27 points.

Three other Goldey-Beacom players who scored in double digits in the win were senior guard Ayshion Centeno (13), sophomore forward  Zayon Marsh (13), and senior guard Mekhi Collins (13).

The Lightning had the advantage in multiple categories in the game, which included points off of turnovers (23-9), fast-break points (12-2), assists (23-13), turnovers (9-20), and steals (12-2).
